Bespoke Offers is a marketplace for connecting subscribers with local merchants. It offers tailored discounts on product and services such as travel, fashion, food, electrical goods, etc. to the Barclays and Barclaycard customers, and also to anyone who wish to avail the offer. It also features a discount pricing tool "Beat My Price" which negotiates a better deal on products users want to purchase online.
As the UX Designer, I recreated, and redesigned the desktop website to mobile-first. I studied the website structure to improve the overall user experience, created process flow diagrams, wireframes, prototypes, user interface and optimised the website performance. In addition to design and front-end work, I learnt Ruby on Rails to replace legacy code with semantic markup.
The incremental approach was taken to replace views while maintaining the existing functionality. The project observed zero downtime during the transition period and was highly appraised by the senior management.
