Booking Engine is a white label eCommerce platform used by the brands of The Travel Corporation to sell luxury tours.

Highlights

The Travel Corporation (TTC) is a travel and leisure group operating in over 60 countries with 30 award-winning independently managed brands, serving over 2 million customers annually. The portfolio comprise luxury hotels, boutique river cruises and award-winning guided travel experiences. In addition, TTC also established a non-profit affiliate, the TreadRight Foundation to support sustainable tourism.

As the Lead UX & UI Designer, I was assigned the task of redesigning the Booking Engine project. I took the opportunity to improve the overall user experience, created site maps, user flows, page schematics, user interface, interactions and markup.

In addition to design work, I also initiated the MVT and split URL testing to measure the success and failure of the design. After achieving 98% of satisfactory result, the site was launched for the end-users.

My company was greatly pleased with the overall concept and highly appreciated the approach I acquired for the data-driven design. The project observed 5% of increase in conversion after its release for direct customers and travel agents.
